Subtle back-lighting highlights the majestic white-tailed sea-eagle in its final twist before taking a fish. Given a wing-span over 8' it is not surprising these awesome birds are often called the 'flying barn door' and their skill at catching fish is legendary. At present the best place to see these magnificents birds is either on the Isle of Mull or Skye, both in the Inner Hedrides.
